Hi all,
We're moving Hamsterball over to a web-playable free version (a-la the Popcap and Gamehouse models), but we've run into a weird little issue with the control itself.
This is what happens: we change the version of the control. We change the version in the html file. Now, theoretically, if someone has the old version, they'll have to download the new one.
Well, it almost works: The web pages DOES say "Do you want to install such and such" (which it doesn't do when the versions are the same). So, it downloads it, but here's the kicker-- it doesn't seem to PUT it anywhere. In the Windows/Downloaded Program Files directory where the control resides, it's still the OLD version!
Does anyone have any idea what would cause that? The only thing I could think of was that we don't have a certificate yet, and maybe that was related. But that seems like it would be stretching it.
Thanks in advance!
