My website looks amateurish and I'm sick of trying to make it look good myself. Can anyone suggest some good places to search for a designer if you're one an Indie budget?

I can do the web programming myself, so I'm looking for someone with artistic skills.

I've met talented web designers from low-income countries, I suggest that route.

Brian Hook's account (http://bookofhook.com/Article/GameDevelopment/MyOff-ShoreProgrammingExp.html) of his experience with offshore programming contracting might interest you.

just use a web template. there are free ones (www.freelayouts.com, and there are others), and you could also buy high quality ones from www.templatemonster.com. they are around $50 each, but they have low budget ones for as little as $15 i think. they have some really nice templates, in lots of categories, including games, corportate, etc. i suggest looking at this before hiring a web designer...

I had a great experience with the guys at Design Outpost (http://www.designoutpost.com/), it's worth checking out.
