Not a fan of dennies? Besides being much cheaper then the pizza place they have a little something for everyone. I'll be there for certain this week now that the baby is born and mommy and baby are home and adjusted. I think pizza is really the ultimate food however the round table pizza is not the ultimate location... naturally we'll be up for discussing the next local choice at this meeting. The Chicago crew always goes to starbucks, one of them calls a head and gets a table set up with curtains around it and everything. Sounded good to me, but the last time I suggested that it got shut down. People want a meal!

Don't blame the messenger. I'm happy with anything that's reasonably cheap. I just pass the information on. :)

I'll try to make it (sorry, can't be as definitive as Dan). I'm not one to turn down breakfast.

Don't mind me Dan, it's probably been a year since I've actually made it to one of these. Coincidentally, it's probably also been a year since I've worked on my game. :(
It's so easy to go to work when you *have* to... <sigh>

Indie pizza night rocks, especially when everyone shows. Tonight we had Jeff Everet, Mark Fasset, Kieth Sink, Raoul IDontRemember, John Rush, and myself.
Good discussions where had, Jeff's experience with the GT GOTY / slashdot publicity, the difference "shipping a game" makes on your game design choices as well as the merits of MMO game design (how did we get on that tangent?)...
See y'all next month and stay tuned for the ever shifting location / cuisine of indie pizza night !

Anyone brought up the idea of having a pot luck? If someone wanted to host...
I don't have a big house anymore (that was always nice for having company), but could entertain 5 or 6 without too much problem. It would be fun to sit around and gab and then maybe actually play some video games. :) I don't get enough of that lately. My favorite games for groups are: Tetris Attack, Mario Kart, and Chu-Chu Rocket.

I've got a big enough house, and an XBox and a PS2, as well as several computers. I had a LAN party with about 14 people here once. I actually thought about inviting everyone over, but I'm sort of out of the way. I'm also sort of afraid of Dan - if he knew where I lived...

This is the third month in a row I've had something going on the day you've done this.
Soon... hopefully soon... especially now that it looks like my game will be getting a publishing contract signed this week!

I'd be happy to host as well. I've got a big house and love to host pot lucks as well. I just have to give the wife enough notice. :)

Maybe we should do that next month since we didn't decide where to go next time?

Maybe in Feb. I won't schedule a poker game for the first Saturday. :P This is the kind of thing I would write down on a calendar if I actually had one of those.
