Hi All,

Zerogear is a fighting game. Zerogear features eight robots, each with selection of moves to provide variety of strategies and yet not overwhelmingly complex. Zerogear is simple and easy to pick up for beginners of this genre. User can challenge another player in the two player mode. Zerogear features 3D graphics and exciting combat animation.

System Requirement:

Windows 98/ME/2000/XP or better
DirectX 9.0 or better
OpenGL 1.5 or better
Pentium 3 733 Mhz or better
128MB RAM
40MB hard drive space
32 MB 3D graphics card with the latest driver

Pretty cool, I liked how small the demo was. The game crashed horribly at first when my Logitech Dual Action gameplad was connected. I got a "failed to initialize direct input" and a black screen. The only way to kill the app was to use the process manager. You might want to create your exclusive window once you've successfully initialized drect play instead of before attempint to initialize direct play. Once I disconnected it the gamepad, the game started fine.

I think the demo needs to be polished a little more, I wasn't able to pull off a single special move over a series of rounds. I used to be a big StreetFighter fan back in the day so these types of moves are not alien to me.

Sorry about the crash, I tracked it down to a Force Feedback call, I assume your joypad doesn't have a force feedback feature. I've upload a new version, hopefully you're now able to use your joypad.
