Games like pacman?

I'm gonna give a talk on Tuesday, called "How to Make a Game Like Pacman". My previous talk, How to Make a Game Like Space Invaders" can be seen at http://talks.eochu.com .

At my last talk, I showed a demo reel of various shooter games to show the evolution of Space Invaders. I'd like to do something similar this time.

Please help me by replying with modern maze games that I can show as evolutionary decendants of Pacman. Thanks!

pacman,mspacman,mr.do,berzerk,rally x, bomberman, and then if you really want to think about it...any modern 3d fps arena type game is nothing more than ghost chasing a main player. ;)

Geon on XBLA (PSN/PC/Wii coming soon) has pacman as an ancestor. No ghosts or maze but you do collect pellets, deposit them in opponents goal and use power-ups to collect faster and/or attack defend against opponent.

David Jones (of lemmings and GTA) said at some point that the GTA games are basically just pac-man with cars... :)

Faceball 2000. A game for the original Game Boy and SNES is kinda similar. Basically you're in different mazes as a spherical face that shoots pellets at other faces that wander around the maze in first person view, and you can collect certain items (though what I can't quite remember).

I always end up having to describe my currently in development game as "Sokoban crossed with Pacman". Pacman is definitely an ancestor in there somewhere.
