It would be sooo great if there was a way to pipe this forum (split by forum group I'm sure) into an RSS feed.

Idea number 2 -- I'm thinking what if a site like indiegamer.com created a feed which contained media (links to shareware/freeware downloads) using the new media format from yahoo http://tools.search.yahoo.com/mrss/mrss.html

Imagine a RealArcade style application for indie games! It would take the rss feed (or multiple feeds) and create nice looking UI which users could then download shareware games like realarcade or gamespyarcade.

Firefox (and some other things also) detects that based on a tag in the HTML header. Here's an example:
