Hello out there! My name is Ed and I have over 25 years experience in character voice over production. To sample some audio and check out some of my clients,go to http://edmace.voice123.com or http://edmace.voices.com. Recently I had the privilege to work with Kemal Amarasingham at dSonic. I provided many character voices for 4Q releases on PSP and Wii. It was a blast! Last week I wrapped with an indie game developer and concluded animation voices for Royal Caribbean. I love this stuff and it's my bread and butter. If anyone out there is looking for voices, don't hesitate to contact me directly. Thanks for your time. Ed

Congratulations Ed! That's awesome that you're a professional voice actor. The average otaku lives in awe of you. :)

Well, like any industry, making the push can be difficult.

You already have the talent, man, so now you need the NETWORK.

You might even look into GANG. I've noticed a few Voice Actors making their popular debut on GANG (Game Audio Network Guild).

It's worth looking into.

You'll also want to make your presence known on as many game audio forums you can get your hands on.

Including gameaudioforum.com

Keep up the good work, Ed!

It's good to advertise your services on forums like this one, sure, but as a voice actor, your most frequent work will come from audio directors themselves.

Audio Directors will be found posting very infrequently on audio forums. It's rare to find one wondering about a forum like this one.

Most indie game projects, not all, but most typically prefer hiring a single studio for all their more difficult audio services (and leaving the simple or seemingly simple audio assets to make themselves), rather than play the part of an audio director and assemble a team of actors, sound designers, and composers, etc.
