Go Keith go!

You beat my PC version by two days! But my Mac version started selling two weeks ago. Yesterday, I noticed your post to MacUpdate and VersionTracker. Best of luck and sales to you!

P.S. See you next month at Casual Connect?

But my Mac version started selling two weeks ago.

You got it out under my radar. I secretly hoped I would beat you out of the gate. Oh well. Glad to hear you've shipped.

P.S. See you next month at Casual Connect?

Yeah. I've got my pass already and am looking forward to it.

The windows version download button at:

leads to a 404.

If I were you I would separate the screen shots of the two games, since it seems like it is only one about a little girl that play poker with pirates ... or pirates playing poker for a girl

Good luck!

Hi Chanon,
You were downloading at exactly the moment I was uploading a fixed version. Someone found a major bug and I was quietly updating it. I tested the download again today and it seems to work fine.

Good suggestion on the web page Pogacha. I thought the same thing yesterday. I'll make the change today.

Hi,

I've downloaded the Win version but I found some 'bugs'

1. When I died I found the way locked (at the start of the level there were doors) - and I can go accross the wall

See the image

[img=http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/8374/crumberror1ke9.th.jpg] (http://img381.imageshack.us/my.php?image=crumberror1ke9.jpg)

To 'reset' the player-map offset I moved the mouse outside the window - so the game paused - and then I re-entered in the game. Then everything is ok.

2. Sometimes the 'window-baloon' that reports the progress/messages during the game is totally BLACK

3. In the MAP screen and in the LEVEL_COMPLETED screen you should allow the user to press 'ENTER' (or any other key) to continue; instead I need to use the mouse. In other windows you can use ENTER.

4. Why no animations on water and on trees?

I like the game - very polished, and I really like the possibility to choose the player: if you allow the user to 'customize' it (with jewels, clothes and so on) it will be a sort of sub-game and a PLUS.

Thanks for the reports. I'll look into them immediately.

There was always more polish I could add, but I really needed to finish the game. The idea of adding clothing was a good one, but when I looked in to it, I was told the art would be much more expensive. If the game sells well, I'll probably do a sequel with many of the improvements people have mentioned.

Thanks again.

The graphics really impressed me... very well done!
I am too bored of sokoban type games to have had any fun with it though.
Also I didn't want to invest that much time into reading the extremely long story pages .. especially just after the first level (and then after each level after that).

Just sharing my thoughts / 2cents after trying it.
Of course I'm not the target market.

Yeah. This was definately my Katsu. I couldn't have finished it without the help of this group and many people encouraging me along.

9:50 PST the site is down, I've tried a couple of times.
I'll check the logs to see what was up. The site seems fine right now.
I got hit with over 400 visitors on Monday, so I wouldn't be surprised if that had anything to do with it.

I'm planning to write up data on my experience with press releases and what Mac sites I got the biggest impact from. I won't have data on sales for a few months.

Hi, I just tried your game, I think it's well done, but there seem to be a few bugs:

- At some point the collision detection got mixed up and was checking one block too high.
- When you get hit and lose something strange things happen, like locked doors are locked again but invisible on the map. If you were moving a rock, it continues to move all the time after that going back and forth.
- I also had a black hint.

Also I prefer to use the keyboard, which works fine. But I think the mouse arrow next to your character should disappear if you aren't using the mouse.

Thanks for the feedback Mike. I'll be looking into those issues.
