Hello all, I'm considering applying for the Guildhall's Level Design program. Does anyone know, in general, how difficult this, or any other, Guildhall program is to get in? Has anyone out there applied and been rejected/accepted?

Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure the guildhall is a masters degree program. One of their requirements is that you complete some sort of schooling in what you want to go elsewhere first. So fro instance if you are wanting to go for programming, you should get your BA at another university. If I'm not mistaken anyway. =P

Yup, you're exactly right. Luckily for me I already have one ;)

The tales I've read about guildhall (and/or other game-specific schools) is that the schools are tough. Like crunch-time tough. On the other hand, if you can survive it, it's very likely that you'll land a job where you'll be doing crunch-time.. =)

That's what I've heard too, I'm totally down with that, EXCITED for it in fact :) I can't think of any more enjoyable crunch time than making games :D
