FINALLY after almost 1 year of work... I have finished my turnbased space wargame. I am without strength so I just post screenshots and download links... and well I can copy / paste some info:
Supernova 2: Spacewar is a sci-fi strategy game featuring a main part mainly based on the macromanagement of your space empire, and a classical turn based wargame part when a fight occurs. You'll have to manage carefully your resources, balancing several aspects like researching new technologies, training better troops, raising the people loyalty in your empire, and building the ultimate fleet to conquer the galaxy!

The game is v1.0, has already passed the quality checkup of Iakibuk, Emmanuel, Phelios, Cliffski and Hamumu! ;) everyone was able to figure out how to play after some time. Already a big success for me, considering the super complexity of this game.

Had a quick go at it. It looks really good but have some gripes with the sound. The 'plop' sound when you click on the UI seems totally out of place for a serious game like this. That's the kind of sound I would expect on a cartoony game. Also didn't like the music, especially on the faction selection screen. Again didn't seem to fit with the high-tech feel of the game.

Hmm ok agree with the click sound :) about the intro music, I wanted a dark theme, maybe I can find something better though!

Can anyone try this on mac? just to see if works, I have trouble making it work on my own ibook for no reason (I compiled it with xcode on my Macmini), so I'm wondering if anyone else has problems with it :p

Works perfectly here. I tried it at work only for a couple of minutes on an Intel based iMac in both fullscreen and windowed mode.

Thanks :) if anyone else can try it and let me know, I'd be grateful. For a really unexplainable reason it crashes on load in my ibook with 10.3.9 (even if probably not many people use that anymore). But everyone else I have asked has no problem, so I just want to be sure that's not the game but some problem on my ibook.
