Detritus (http://www.erif.org/code/detritus/) is a fast-paced shoot-em-up strongly based on the old classic Asteroids. Replenish your shield with power-ups and gain new weapons. "Cleaners" appear periodically, so watch out! The keyboard controls should be self-explanatory.
Currently I've only compiled it for Windows, but I'm working on the OS X release right now (if you're eager, it's here (http://www.erif.org/temp/Detritus1.0.5rc1.dmg))--and the Code is cross-platform via OpenGL, OpenAL, and SDL, src is on the site. :)

I'd love feedback on gameplay or whatever. I know the HUD needs work but nothing's clicked yet, so suggestions there would be great. And I know the screenshots need work, but I'm planning on having a contest for that. ;)
