Black Jack Suite feedback

Hi guys,

I've just released new version of BlackJackSuite and it would be nice to here from you some replies.

I don't have time to play (+no mac version) but I really like the graphics you have there.

Hey I saw your post on PopCap forum, anyway, congrats on finishing a game!


Here is what I think:

1.) Double Down should be available only when the first two cards are 9, 10 or 11.

2.) When the round is finished, all cards should be clear before allowing you to place bet.

3.) Rules should be clear to the play. For example, "dealer must hit soft 17", how many decks are used? etc

4.) For the "hit", "stay" buttons, etc, orange buttons are a bit confusing, try using other color.

5.) The executable icon is way too ugly.


Also, here is a question for you, did you use version 1.3 of the popcap framework?

I think, it would be better to customize rules before game start. In my opinion, it depends on casino rules.

I did it at version 1.0. But it's to complex to click double-time for only start round (one click - clear the table, another click - make the bet)

Yes, you are right. I'll think about.

I'll talk with graphics artist about.

Yes, it's 1.3 version =). But I've used only drawing part and interface for bass-library.

Hmm, I don't know right now. But I have some ideas(features) about the game wich I want to implemet in future. And, of cause, I am planning to earn some money to start work on other games(it's just hobby now, but who's know =).

I'm not sure if there is a PC market for the game (could be wrong but I don't think so) but it seems like a great draw for a website if it was a freebie Flash title. If you decide to move in that direction then please let me know as I would be interested in having it on my site.
