Vancouver's DemoCamp 6 is focused on gaming. I'm going to give a talk about Sillysoft's indie success, Jamie from Klei will be talking about XBox Live Arcade, and there will be a talk on iPhone development. Also: networking, battledecks and more! Come on out if you're in Vancouver.

When: April 10th, 5:30pm-7:30pm, drinks to follow
Where: Workspace, 21 Water St., Vancouver, BC.
Cost: Free.

Sounds interesting, but I don't think I "get" it. What exactly happens? Does everyone present something?

I read a few pages on the wiki and it still wasn't clear.

I think there will be 3 demos/talks, with the content being dependent on what the presenter brings. I'm planning to do a little demo of Lux Delux, show off some notable features, and then show some things that Sillysoft Games does to make it work as a business.

I haven't been to any previous DemoCamps, but I've heard usually they are done more in an unconference style, with people pitching their demos and the best ones getting presented. This one is different in that they set a theme (gaming) and selected the presenters in advance.

I think it's going to be an interesting event, so I hope you make it.
