Anyone in the Portland Oregon Area interested in a Indie Game Dev night? We could all meet at a McMennamins and share a few pints and discuss whatever is on our brains at the moment.

Let me know how many of you there are and i'll plan something.

I would personally be much more likely to do a noon-ish lunch downtown somewhere, than an evening, but I would love to see who else is in Portland. I'll subscribe to this thread to see how many indies are here.

Hmmm, doesn't look like that many of us... 3DBen are you still going to organize something? If you do, I will *try* to make it. (difficult right now because of newborn son who is keeping me busy)..

By the way, Maksum, I like your website - nice and clean. =) Incidentally, you look familiar (from the picture on your website) - did you by chance go to the Christian Game Developer's Conference this year (or last)?

Thanks! I always love to hear things like that. I'm actually sitting on an updated version of the site here locally now. Just waiting to release my game first week of January (hopefully.) I didn't go that CGDC. I didn't hear about it until I ran into a guy that helps head it up. I met him at indie game con in Eugene this last october. If I have the chance next time I'd love to go.

For now, it doesnt look like many are interested. Now if it was beer and xbox/gamecube at my place maybe that would make it more appealing... then again, maybe not. :)

Im going to hold off for now and maybe try again later.. maybe this summer. Im knee deep in my current project anyway and any free time I get feeds into that.

I am curious though, what are you guys working on or have worked on? I personall am working on a new puzzle game, I dont really want to give many details out yet but I can say it's coming along really well. I really don't make much of an impact here, but my last title if your wondering is Puzzle Monkey.

Talk soon.

Sweet, can't go wrong with monkeys! I have a couple games in my "notebook-o'-ideas" involving monkeys actually.

I'm working on "Add 'em Up" which is coming along well. I have a near-final build out to beta testers now and hope to release it first week of january time-frame. I'm getting really excited as it's my first game. You can read more details at my site if interested (in sig.)

I'd be up for some Gamecube action sometime. I'm a BIG fan of Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.. I don't drink beer, but I can b.m.o.r.b. - bring my own root beer :)
