I'm not sure where to really post this topic, but I figured the Business section would be the best spot, since a solid web page can help attract more business.

Anyways, I'm starting to design my companies website and I was wondering what you think is key to have on your website, or even design/layout ideas. I have a few sweet ideas brewing right now, and concepts drawn up. But I come to you for some extra advice.

Thanks alot.

When my site launches I'm going to have two sections on the main page: the most recently released game and my most recent blog entry. The game because that's how I'll generate revenue and the blog because it'll be updated most often. I want the site be constantly changing. Every other link will be in the menu.

This is probably stating the obvious, but I think it should be mentioned anyway. I think the most basic necessity is that all of the following should be readily available:

Screenshots of your game(s)
Download links for each game's demo
A buy now link for each game

Essentially, at least one of these is what any potential buyer is coming to your website looking for, so make them all very easy to find. The majority of visitors will spend less than 30 seconds looking at your site, so make those 30 seconds count, and give them what they want so you can snag their interest in your products.
