Publishing on Steam

I've found it hard to get a contact with anybody at Valve for more information. No sales stats, no listing of requirements, etc.

Anybody with experience publishing on Steam care to speak up?

The Valve site provides an email link to the person who deals with Steam enquiries (Jason). Did they not reply?
