Hi All! Here is a little quiz to determine best country to run internet / software business in. Please answer the following questions: 1) What country do your business registered in? 2) Is there any currency control? 3) What taxes do you pay (type/rate)? bonus question) I'm thinking about registering company in Britain Virginian Islands (BVI), are there any withholdings from payments by US companies to BVI? Any experience?

1) What country do your business registered in?
Brazil
2) Is there any currency control?
Yes, by the Brazilian Central Bank (equivalent to the US' Federal Reserve)
3) What taxes do you pay (type/rate)? bonus question)
Oh my God, a LOT OF TAXES. I would say, factoring in all direct and indirect taxation, including those from hiring people, I'm roughly forced to let 35-40% of all my revenue go to the government.
And Brazilian game developers get so little in return (http://www.gameproducer.net/2008/02/26/how-piracy-can-break-an-industry-the-brazilian-case/).
