I'm helping a Chinese developer market his casual game in the U.S. He wants to create a U.S.-based Web site. What's a good company to go with? Are there any that are allow foreigners to pay in different ways?

Well liquidweb is good. There's a button at the bottom of the site. Whether they're "foreigner friendly" in terms of payment etc.. I couldn't say.

I'm based in China. We hosted our website at Lunarpages, it got great-firewalled once, Lunarpages was kind enough to move us to another machine. Shortly thereafter our website got great-firewalled yet again, this time Lunarpages refuse to move us. We were using the cheapest package(shared hosting) so the odds of being gfw-ed is higher, but two times in a row?
Just to share my experience. You should let the developer know the associated risks hosting overseas.

Check www.sinohosting.net ; the company is based in Shanghai but offers Singapore, US and UK hosting as well. Payment can be made in local currency (RMB), which should be convenient for your friend.
