Anybody had any recent dealings with them?
I signed with them years back and did ok (after a slight contractual problem with title ownership that was corrected in my favour) but more importantly of late, I've not had much luck with them regards the sales and placement of new PC content other than on their own portal.
In fact I'm finding them to be seemingly 'unresponsive' would be the best way to put it in plain English after several mails and requests for official quarterly reporting etc.
Indeed I can confirm I have sold units more myself D2C now it seems - which is quite odd in itself really!
Personally I think the days of $19.99/$19.95 on 'everything' PC/online are well over.
[Edit: I since heard back today - not great reporting figures by far but least I've heard I guess]

Er NO... I'm still having some problems with regards to eGames staff accountability in answering mails it seems sadly and given I've been signed to them for approx 8 years on and off I'm very close to calling it a day in order that I can move things along their natural path.
If anybody here works 'for' them - somebody please poke 'Kevin Bonner' to answer his damn emails!... yes I'm really busy too but I still answer my emails and I have to do everything from day to day pretty much also - not easy for me either.
2 distros (one Mobile and one PC) already got the boot today - this looks like it will be the third, I had enough of timewasters in business so am firing all of them before I go off for a break shortly.
Life really is too short for these types of situations and I've personally been doing this for 20 years and seen it all trust me - all very boring indeed!
Sadly I only got a response from them last time I moaned because I posted here in public - go figure :/

It's fun because you keep saying that on every post. But I can assure you that my experience is quite different. I'm very happy about my $25 game sales and I know lots of people that have no trouble shipping TONs of direct sales at $20...

LOL er no I don't say that on 'every post' actually?, well anyway perhaps that is the case for you, but for 'me' those days are long gone on PC.
Then again, most of my PC software is getting older now as compared to newer stuff out there and then there is of course the additional problem in my case with my Dweebs range of titles reaching saturation point after almost 10 years given they did sell by the bucket load in earlier years all over the globe in various forms.
I repackaged them all and sell them now for $7.95 each myself direct and indeed sold more of Dweebs 3 than eGames did in the same year - that is the sad fact on which my older post you quoted was based.
I appreciate it is not the same perhaps for everyone, but then again you are maybe not talking about software that is at the end of it's natural life in most cases.
How many of you are still selling games they produced almost 10 years ago :)
Also I can only relate my own experience to selling our own developed PC content not other peoples or indies content as an affiliate.

Ah ok are 10 years old titles, didn't know that. It could be a reason indeed :)

The eGames deal was saved by the bell - close call really and shame I had to post here yet again.
Anyway got to rush.
