Well... that's based upon a 1% conversion rate. DROD is currently a game of a certain type - but let's say you made it something that had nothing to do with what it currently has to do with. Let's say you skipped the whole computer thing and made it something like food, sex or an antidote. Say, an antidote (called the DROD pill) to a poison that gets distributed with the brain implanted demo you were talking about. Then you could get much higher conversion rates - probably at least 95% of the people would still want to live. No aspersions, DROD just wasn't for me... but it didn't make me suicidal or anything - I just prefer my dungeons filled with monsters and magical stuff to get as I level up, I'm old school like that.

So, as you can see, your numbers really fall far short of what they could be. I'm kind of an idea/biz. dev. guy at heart and I'm going to give you that one for free. The next one will cost you though.
