Motion welder is a Free tool to create/edit animation for j2me mobile game, where artist can create clipped animation, and export it to j2me game.

In j2me code, developer can directly read the animation with help of motionwelder library, and can play complex animation smoothly.Have a look.

Downloaded version might be with limited animations, but Motion Welder is available for free, and can be obtained by writing to support at...

If it's free, why do you need to write to support to get a copy of it?

Motion welder uses basic set of APIs hence it can be used for both MIDP 1.0 and MIDP 2.0. So it should work with all handset supporting MIDP 1.0 and MIDP 2.0.

Also Motion welder library ( MotionWelder.jar) used to load/play animation is open source and developers can modify it as required:).
