8 years on and the little furry buggers are still selling in their original form...

Tesco's hypermarket stores took delivery again of the lastest Candy Pack compilation.

Cheers... not a lot of cash in it in reality mind as this is basically 'super budget' but all sales are sales.

...and you get to see your box on a shelf, which we don't get with mobile / download sales.

I'd be jumping up and down in the isle, pointing, saying "I made this!" :D

Heh last time I tried that was back in '93 when Core Design released CyberPunks (Amiga) for xmas... basically I was in HMV Portsmouth and saw the whole top row was my game... went upto the sales guy and said 'I made that!'... he went something like "yeah right of course you did" :P

I've had that reaction quite a few times down the years so I guess joe public tends not to think mostly 'normal people' create these things LOL.

Best one I've ever done mind was seeing the whole front window of Virgin Mega Store, Oxford St., London with just posters of my game in it in '92 (Doodlebug -Amiga/ST) unreal days!

Yeah. Perhaps they fade away if you don't post too often ;)

Congrats.

I used to go in every branch of Game I saw, to rearrange the shelves and make sure my own games weren't hidden away behind something else.

I've rearranged shops for them in Aberdeen, London, and most places in between. :D

Cheers and yes, done similar myself also heh! even with related magazine ads that were on the rear cover of glossy computer gaming mags (Amiga Power etc.) on shelves.

When asked why by sales staff, they actually helped me turn them all over! LOL :)
