I might download a free wallpaper if it's nice.

But only free - stick some CPM ads on the site if you wish...

Nobody [with a brain] will pay when you can get literally billions of them gratis.

Is there a free demo?

11-20-2007, 03:04 AM
Yeah, but it expires after one hour.

(Expiring wallpaper... now there's an interesting trick. JPEGs with in-built DRM, anyone?)

Some webcomic sites use wallpapers as a thank-you gift for donations.. that might work, but otherwise I doubt anyone would really pay for a wallpaper.

11-20-2007, 03:36 AM
Nope, I can create my own wallpaper and transfer to my phone without paying for it :)

Would never pay for wallpapers. And also I make my own whey I want to practice my 1337 gfx skillz.

They should be freely given away as marketing tools.

No, I wouldn't. I _might_ potentially register (free) to a site or fill out a survey in order to download wallpaper though.

Pay for wallpaper? Never.
I'll make my own or go somewhere else that has them for free.

I've seen wallpapers for sale, both for mobile and PCs ... but I don't even pay for a screen saver.

Nope, all my wallpaper for my phones were created by me and sent to my phone via BT(Bluetooth, not Bittorrent).

Doesn't this just seem like spam to anyone else?

11-23-2007, 03:03 AM
I'm amazed that this thread wasn't deleted right way. I would have.

After clicking on the link, it does seem like spam.

It's spam.

After using a modern Japanese cell phone for 3 years, I'm amazed at all the restrictions on U.S. phones, and how hard it is to customize them.
