Ok, here is another Enkord release. This is game been in development for almost 2 years for various reasons. We've rewritten the game from scratch few times and I am very happy we were able to put it together and release it.
This game is a mix between Zuma and Clash'N Slash - we tried to make Zume more action-intense therefore we added lots of shooting powerups, upgrades, destructible scenery and other minor bits.
Check it out and let me know what you think!

I only played one level, but the visuals look nice - I didn't see anything that looked broken.
I'd suggest allowing keyboard control (maybe you already have it - I didn't check the options) since Zuma clones are easily played by keyboard.
In my opinion opening up someone's browser and sending them to your page when they uninstall is just plain sleazy. I'd never buy a game that did that, though I suppose if I was going to buy a game I'd never uninstall it. But if I did uninstall a game that hijacked my browser, I'd remember that company unfavorably. And I can't be the only one who feels that way.
...But recently some strange events began to happen, shattering your peace and quiet. Packs of evil imps are tirelessly assaulting your possession, corrupting lands and scaring folk. You know nothing where they are coming from and why do they attack your lands.
I can't believe you're still not having your English proofread! New customers are liable to see poor grammar as a sign of a cheap game, and try something else that appears more professional. Whatever the cost (if any!) of a simple English correction would likely be offset by two or three of the increased sales/customers you'd get.
In fact, I volunteer to proof all the English in Svetlograd for free.

Thanks for your feedback...
The game is still soft-release on our website and has only our own translation. Proofreading will be done soon by native speaker. But thanks for volunteering anyway!

Nice Zuma game - didn't get that I could move my ship until well into the game, might want to make that clearer. Didn't like the bonus trees getting in the way of shooting what I wanted - frustrating to think you are getting a chain done and then you hit a tree. Kind of counter-productive as the trees are supposed to be a bonus. Graphics are nice and clean. Really need to fix the translation stuff. Svetlograd is not an English friendly title - people will have a hard time remembering or figuring out how to pronounce it.
Definitely think this one is better than the tank game.

Strange... i can't see anything wrong with this text.
Because english is not my native language. Reminds me of the All Your Base problem.

Don't play Zuma games much, but have to say this is the best one I've played, apart from the translation issues :p
Agreed trees can be annoying, but can be taken care of by switching balls. Other things which impressed me was the powerups, the visible icons for powerups, and the store.
Really well done, just clean the translation up, as has been pointed out enough.

I agree. Why not call it City of Light or something like that (check google to avoid religion correlation).

Keep the name, not everything needs to be dumbed down for certain English speaking nations

You seems to forget that 90% of the people who "BUY" these games are in these speaking nations.

How many people do you think actually type in the name of your game?
90% of your sales might be english speaking but I don't see the correlation between that and the games name. Further I would suggest that perhaps you are not selling strongly enough in foreign languages :P

"I'd remember that company unfavorably. And I can't be the only one who feels that way."
Usually, tech savvy guys are the ones that hate this, typical end users expect this kind of behavior and I doubt it bothers them too much...unfortunately because I also don't like it.

I don't see how popping up a browser window at uninstall would really help you anyhow, sure you get to stick your website in their face, but it seems an inappropiate action, is the user likely to be wanting to install another game at that time? If anyone has any stats that indicate otherwise then I'd be all ears.
Still I find this far less offensive than the games that stick icons on my desktop/programs menu and then has the cheek to put them back when I have deleted them!
Anyhoo good luck with the game, sorry can't check it out at the mo but it looks like a lot of effort and thought went into it.

Thank you guys for your comments.
Yes, we had a lot of discussions regarding game name with portal partners and so on. Yes, City of Light was also considered but we decided to keep Slavic name as we tried to have this game resembling ancient Slavic elements so Svetlograd title hopefully will add to that theme.
After all I believe the game is what sells, not the name. At least not in this industry. I remember back in the days when we released Clash'N Slash everyone complained that it was an awful name and the game has nothing to do with clashing or slashing. Now after several years have passed and that game brought us a lot of money you can see the name was not so much important.
