Hello all,

Wanted to drop off this game in the hopes that some of you might play and like it. It was originally intended for the JayIsGames Casual Game Design competition, where the theme was "Ball Physics". But I got tied up in school so I didn't finish it in time. But eventually I did finish it, and here it is.

It's an arcade platform-ish type game, where the object is to jump up and bounce on a sequence of blocks without touching the ground. The game currently includes 20 levels and a highscore, based on how fast and flawlessly you make it through those levels.

It's a flash game, and it's available right here (http://www.jonkk.dk/games/rigby). Hope you enjoy it.

Any comments are, of course, welcome!

I enjoyed it. The only level I had a lot of trouble with was level 9... much harder than the later levels in my opinion.

Control of the ball was difficult (not sure if that's part of the physics of the game or not) and I felt like I would have done better had the ball reacted instantly to my keypresses.

Anyway, nice simple game!

Found a bug at level where a block flies in diagonal (like level 16? you totally need to show current level number). I was holding diagonal RIGHT from the first second and flew into that block and my ball got stuck at position 0,0. I didn't touch anything else before:

Are you looking to license that game?

Wow, it's amazing I didn't run into that bug while developing. I've had three report that bug mere minutes after posting the game.

It's sort of the physics that make him hard to control, his low acceleration to be specific. I'm aware it makes it a bit artificially hard, but it really becomes way too easy if I give him any more air control.

But hey, if enough people complain, I'll probably cave in! :)

And yes, that's Level 16. But yeah, I need to put an level indicator up.

No, I'm not looking into licensing for this one. It's just to start off with something. Get my feet wet, so to speak.

Thanks for the comments!

UPDATE: The glitch should be fixed. Let me know if it still happens to some of you.

The start screen flickers, seems to exchange with a score list, can't do anything :(

Does it happen still, that's a pretty weird bug. Hasn't happened to anyone else.
