Indie Author Questions

So I am in recent developement of a game (Brethren of the Coast). It will be going up for retail but it is an online MUD. Will this count for an Indie Author badge? For those who dont know what a MUD is its a text based game.
More info on the game:

It will be developed in Java

It is a historicly accurate Pirate MUD

There will be a free version where you simply play as a pirate and 2 expansions that will run for $5 each that will let you play as a colonial soldier or a merchant.

As I understand it, if you've written a game and you ask, you get one. So yes, if you asked, I think you'd get one.
