Portal Discounting

I think we've discussed this before but it's relevant for me today. I've seen discounting on some of my previous games that has meant that I have earned somewhere less than 1/8th of a Rusty Axe sale site when the game has been discounted through a portal - ie. < $2.50.

Anybody had any luck getting portals to skip this particular term - I'm not eager to see Real E$tate Empire sold online for $6.
