Logo advice

I suspect that this logo is too difficult to read unless you already know what it says. Please have a look and tell me how difficult it is to read.

Dualists?

It definitely is too hard and doesn't look like a logo ... it looks like squiggles. I would give those letters some more concrete definition.

I like the style, but it is quite hard to read if you don't know what it says. The letters need to be slightly more defined, I think. Your suspicion was correct. ;)

It's an intersting image, nice colours and lighting but it's not a good logo... as a title screen it might work ok... but it's nothing you see and will remember and identify again ( which is the purpose of a logo ).

My main problem besides the text getting lost in the background is the "the"at the top... The first two letters are to far apart and the e is covered by the brighter skull making it even harder to recognize.
Why not try ad mov te "he" over - align the "h" with the u and fit the "e" in besides the "l"...

Based on your story description on your site, I'd have to say it appears to be misspelled...

(and I agree it's no logo, more like a title screen... a nice Nightmare Before Christmasy one)

It's not misspelled. :) It's actually a play on words between "duelists" and "dualism" which is a theme in the game.
