Hi all,

We had hoped to use DiscMakers (http://duplication.discmakers.com/action/PriceCalculatorServlet) to produce a collection of our 3 games. We went through the process of setting up the CD ISO image, the DVD case and CD graphics, etc. However, when we attempted to purchase, we hit a wall: You need a credit card with an american billing address. (We want to ship to the USA [Plimus], so I didn't think there'd be a problem!)

Has anyone managed to overcome these sorts of issues in the past? Is it possible to obtain an american credit card while residing in Canada?

Alternatively, does anyone know of a DiscMaker-like company that accepts Canadian/foreign credit cards, or PayPal?

Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure if this helps, but you can get virtual offices for pretty cheap these days. Most packages include a physical office or conference room for a few hours a month, which you don't really need, but they all mail/phone/fax forwarding. You might be able to use a virtual office to get a US address with a credit card.

Do they even ship to Canada? If so then it's a bit weird that they expect you to live in USA. If not, then getting a US-based credit card is something of a moot point.

Anyway, didn't really compare prices too much but here's a few quick results from Google....

Did you check Amazon's https://www.createspace.com/

? It used to be called CustomFlix. I haven't built anything with them but I have ordered their products (conceptart.org dvd's are made there) and I was quite satisfied.

Have you tried getting a prepaid Visa card? You ought to be able to put any address you feel like on it.
