what email address do you guys use for business related stuff, like:
1) software submissions
2) website hosting
3) payment processor/sales notifications
4) etc.
i used to use my general contact address, like contact@ or info@, but now i think it is better to setup a general business address, like business@ or maybe use a personal address instead?
what do u guys do???
thanks

Most guys seem to use something along the lines of a personal name. It helps to make real personal connections in an otherwise virtual existence. An annonymous yahoo/hotmail/etc email works great for website reg info. Other emails vary upon personal preference but be warned eventually the spammers will catch on to your standard emails like webmaster@..., support@..., etc.

Definitely use a different one for software submissions, it will get spammed heavily.

Yup, personally always use a yahoo email for anything about website signups, mailing lists, etc.

thanks for the info guys... but i was asking about things more towards the business side. like which address do you use for sale notifications, which address do you use for your business services (ecommerice/order processing, web hosting, etc.)...
it's not a big deal... but i have been using my contact@ / info@ address for these types of things, and i am now realizing maybe these things should be split into a special business email address. and i'm looking for some ideas :-) biz@ seems like a nice/practical one?
thanks!

I have seperate ones for information, support, sales, and my normal email. It helps to keep the sales one from getting spammed, and tends to keep the business spam out of the support.
