Just read cooking with mama has reached 500,000 units on nintendo DS but i cant seem to find the sales for the casual pc version or for that matter a download to try it out.

It was released on the portals?

It did very well on the portals?

I'm very sure Cooking Mama was DS only (besides the Wii version).

You referring to "Cooking mama"? Then it is definitely a console only game available for Wii and the DS. My friends who do not even touch any other game can't seem to get enough of the Wii version. A real good casual console game.

A real good casual console game. It's a wonder it hasn't been cloned for the PC casual market, don't you think?

What makes it appealing in the WII is the motion tracker and in the DS version you have to move your hand with the pen (simulating all the movements). A PC version wouldn't be too exciting since it would be all clicking, check out some of the videos and you'll see what I'm talking about. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a "similar" PC game under development, though.

Yup, changing the stylus input to a mouse input kind of takes away the fun. But I am still holding out for a Phoenix Wright PC version though.
