I'll start with a quick description of the game:

Storked is a pc computer game about 4 penguins who are entrusted with a very special egg. The stork in charge of the egg gets into an unfortunate accident over the Antarctic and must rely on his flightless pals to roll the egg to safety.

Over the weekend, I compiled a Beta and while it is a work in progress, needs a lot of refinements, and has already been changed since the Beta was compiled, it still gives a pretty good representation of the gameplay, feel, etc. Any comments on what is there now, would be greatly appreciated. I certainly could have overlooked some simplistic things and would love feedback. Thank you all in advance.

Good to see an MMFD user :D

You should know that the shift key is not a great key to use for game play as it's associated with sticky keys on XP and I'd wager most users don't know how to turn sticky keys off (or the pop up that comes up when you tap shift several times).

I found the menus to be out of place at first sight. Also, on the first level, when I rolled the egg down the first slope it somehow was destroyed without taking any damage...

I had the same problem with the egg dissapearing on the first slope. I switched to the egg camera when i happened and the egg was falling down the left hand side of the map; all the way to the bottom where it was destroyed. Might be a collision problem?

Thanks for your comments...Sadly, I found out about the collision problem too late. It is a very significant problem and has been fixed. Hopefully everyone can actually beat some levels and enjoy the Beta now (a fixed version was uploaded). I also think that the shift key is a good point as I turned off my sticky keys a long time ago.
