Method is a highly successful developer who focuses on the mobile, causal and handheld and console markets. Our offices are located in Dallas Texas.

Ideal candidate must have previous flash gaming development experience. The ideal candidate will have proven abilities in areas such as player control, event scripting, and AI. Flash Games programmers will work with the design team to create game play that is fun and consistent and will work from on their titles from prototype to final delivery.
Requirements:
• 2+ year flash game development experience
• Strong Flash and Actionscript (AS2) skills. AS3 is a plus.
• Strong understanding and implementation of OOP methods.
• Strong knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, xHTML, CSS, XML
• Strong foundation in visual/interface design, motion graphics and UI design
• Knowledge and understanding of games industry
• Self motivated, good problem solver.
• Excellent communication skills
• BS in computer science or equivalent
• Detailed and organized
• Experience integrating flash with server technologies (must be able to read/write an XML document without having to convert it into Objects first)
• Ability to write clean and re-usable code and use existing code in packages when available
• Good understanding of mathematics as it applies to computer graphics (vectors, matrix, etc)
• Understanding of how Flash renders graphics (including pixel fonts and how to use them correctly)
• Familiarity with speed and size optimization in Flash
