I know this may sound incredibly unprofessional, but I don't have a portfolio but I can absolutely do this with the greatest of ease. I love story writing and game designing. I've been doing it since I was a kid; I'm in college now for video game design. I was the lead game/story designer (writer) for a project last semester and got an A.

I have designed a lot for an online game called Graal Online and I was the co-manager of its first pay-server. I was one of the main reasons it went pay-to-play because of all my ideas (the NPC Server, animals, I invented a new race for the game, I designed levels/worlds, a time concept unique with two suns, etc.) and the game has been very successful ever since. Bomy-bopots are the race I invented.

I've been writing several short sotires recently as well and designing a new game. Nothing "published" in the sense of console but I know I'm good enough. Take a chance on me.
