King Of Dragon Pass fans would recommend...?

If you thought King Of Dragon Pass (http://a-sharp.com/kodp/) was awesome, what games would you recommend to entertain one's sensibilities? I need to get out of my Freeciv rut. Unfortunately A-Sharp never did another game.

I downloaded Darklands from http://www.phyton.dk/arkiv.htm and tried it briefly. I wandered around at night and ended up in a Roguelike combat screen. What is the relationship to King Of Dragon Pass?

I started looking for other "KODP fans would recommend..." threads out on the internet. Found a "Darklands fans would recommend..." (http://www.rpgcodex.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=371750&sid=e3304092e8e80d52d7db00c62df8bed1) thread which mentions KODP. So I guess I'll poke at Darklands some more.

Both Darklands and the KODP were masterpieces. Totally immersive games. If you check in Darklands credits there's even Sid Meier if I remember correctly... ;)
