We have a relatively new download site that is looking for all types of software and games to sell. We have been up and running now for 6 months, with an amazing lack of success attracting software. We have hundreds of affiliates signed up and ready to sell, but many of them say that they are waiting for more programs before them will put a link onto their webpage. Does anyone have any ideas as to how we can attract more good quality software to our site?
I know that our website design has its problems, as the first pages are geared towards our next release, whilst the rest is still showing the current release. All ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Tee hee. Your website sounds like "Wankey" to me.

What do you use for that MOVING IMAGE? It's REALLY SLOW for me, and could be much worse for low-fi computers. Maybe Flash? You'd better not use it.

And I can't get exact idea, what site it is for.

And it's not Firefox compatible very much. Right Upper side isn't showing very well for Firefox.

you are right we use flash for the moving image.
The idea is that anyone who has developed a program that they would like to sell can upload it for sale whilst anyone with thier own website can get thier own webshop to sell the software in our catalog.

Do you have any links to any sites that sell games using your system right now? It would be nice to try the system out from a consumer's point of view.

I don't like how you have to create an account first before you can find out more information. Most services out there will offer information right from the beginning. Step-by-step on how to get started, how the system works, general questions, demo's (if applicable), links or run-down of users or software you have, etc.

Personally, the fact that you have to sign up before you get information is a big turn-off. I'd leave the site no matter how wonderful the service being offered is.

Here is a link to one of the webshops http://www.wannakeyshop.com/shopishop/ShowCategory.aspx?shop_id=553&top_category_id=19&sub_category_id=0
As with all systems there are some that will try to get free adverts, so have not included our payment system. We are aware of this, but until there are more products available have decided not to remove them yet. you could always try Hacker evolution from a fellow indie gamer member.
The information as to how it works is present, but from the comments recieved, then we seem to have hidden it a bit to well.
