In the spirit of "If you can't beat em, join em", I'm thinking of doing a Tower Defence "homage".

To prove I'm not a total hypocrite, this is a hobby project only. It will never go on sale, though will be used as an engine demo internally and be posted as a freeware game on the net.

Given that, I need some art doing that I can't afford to pay for. If anyone fancies a dabble, you'll get your name and logo on the game (titles and in-game) and hopefully have fun playing it and contributing ideas etc.

The clincher is, the game will be full 3D but without scrolling or crap cameras. Mostly top-down so can be controlled, etc. It will push a shitload of polygons and particles around so will be written with a min spec of a 3GHz PC with a good video card (sm2 minimum).

Given how busy I am, I can't promise a quick completion but I can promise it'll get completed.

Art style is to be decided and I'm subject to ideas. We could go with fluffy bunnies on surfboards or something, or neon and glass or anything you like. The caveat is that the ground will be CPU generated and pretty damn simple so a level editor is doable.

If anyone is interested, please drop me a line at the addy in my sig, as I can't stand the web interface of PM's.

This could be fun. :D
