Hi everyone!
First off, THIS IS NOT FOR MY STUDIO IN AUSTRALIA, THIS IS FOR SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA.
We're are looking for an intern to join us as we have been completely overrun with work and need an extra set of hands! I will point out now that this is an unpaid internship - we can provide food and even a bed for some nights, but no payment, only experience. This would be perfect for a student who lives close to Santa Monica and is currently looking for something to do for the holidays.
We're offering the best of both worlds - We're working on both games, and feature films, so the intern will get experience in both mediums. Time is running out and we really need someone ASAP.
We are looking for someone with a professional mindset who is hard working, takes initiative and is a fast learner. Having your own transport will be well regarded and we have a parking permit for intern usage.
Your responsibilities/tasks will include:
* Running the studio (making sure everything is clean and tidy and inviting)
* Printing stems in Logic Pro, and Cubase SX
* Sound and sample auditioning and tracking
* Organizing Pro Tools sessions
* Setting up recording equipment for sessions
* Organizing soundtrack releases
* Running errands
* Admin tasks
* etc.
