Possible? 3rd party hacks, compilers, etc, to make this happen? Just curious because it would be fun. ;)

Not very possible I believe. As far as I know there isn't anything out there to allow you to do this, so you're limited to Windows, Mac, and Linux right now. I say limited, but in reality that's very open in and of itself. ;)
It might be possible to create some sort of XNA wrapper for BlitzMax, though it might have to be done at a lower level, so I'm not sure it can really be done. But if it can be done, this would allow you to put the game on your own XBox 360, if you have a Creator's Club membership. You still wouldn't be able to sell your game to other XBox users. That door hasn't been opened yet.
The other consoles, Wii and PS3 aren't an option right now either. You need a dev kit for them, and you have to use the SDK that comes with it, and both are C++ based I believe.
