--- EDIT: Position has been filled, no more offers needed. ---

I need a 2D artist for Mad Skills Motocross: http://turborilla.com/games.html (watch
the corny trailer)

Company:
Turborilla Entertainment was founded by me, Tobias, practically yesterday. The first game is Mad Skills Motocross, a motocross game with superior physics; not technically but gameplay-wise. Really smooth and with a nice flow. To be released in Q4 2007.

Turborilla Entertainment operates from Sweden, but offers from all over the world are encouraged.

You:
You should really value artistic freedom, as there will be a lot of it during this project. I need you to suggest the overall style as well as create all the assets. You should also like this project, and when you saw the trailer your reaction was: "Wow! That would look really cool if only I could do the art for it, and create this and that!" :)

You should be able to keep in touch via mail and messaging to report progress and show your work regularly.

Payment:
You should have a company that I can send payment to, as I can not hire you as an employee.

Budget is tight. Art styles that can be produced at low prices while still looking good are preferable. Cartoonish maybe? You decide.

Needed assets:
5 complete parallax-scrolling-ready backgrounds with 3-5 layers each at 3840x1024 or wider.
5 track textures for the above backgrounds 512x512 or larger
5 motocross bike images. about 200x200.
5 images/icons/logos, one for each of the 5 racing divisions
1 rider with images for arms, legs, torso, head and helmet separately. same size as the bike.
1 Logo in 3 different sizes and layouts
GUI overall look and feel

Everything produced will be exclusively owned by me, you may of course add it to your portfolio.

Deadline:
September 15th 2007

Application:
Send your offer to tobias@turborilla.com

Offers should include link to your portfolio, your visions of the look and style of this project, references and price quote.

Do you need more information? Questions? Feel free to contact me at the above address.

That video looks pretty cool. Reminds me of Excitebike for NES. Ahh the memories...

Good luck with this.

LoL... I WISH Excitebike had moves like that :p
I wish I had the time I'd do the graphics for half of wutever anyone else was offering/accepting to do them for. Thats how much I think this game is gonna kickass when It's complete-
But unfortunatly, or fortunatly??? I'm starting work on my own project in a couple days and must devote my time to IT :o

At any rate... awesome vid... the game looks sweet as hell, and best of luck finding an excelent artist to create some awesome art for this thing.
