Northern Kentucky isn't bad. I live in Covington but not in the dangerous part along the river. Northern Kentucky is really growing while Cincinnati is dying. I spent 4 years in Cincinnati and boy was that a hell hole.

Just wanted to update this. I'm still looking for work. Since posting last, I've created 350 icons for an MMORPG and have art directed a book so I'm ready for some large projects.

I have already seen your work in the past, and I was always impressed by it. Your talent is divine (similar to Micheal Whelan) and it always inspire me to get more invested in painting arts.

MarkusIstar- I'm based out of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area of the United States. I've mostly been doing pen&paper games so I don't have a long career in the video game industry to have a solid rate sheet. I can tell you what I've been paid for an MMORPG and a casual game. I've been paid $10 an icon on and $250-$300 for an 800x600 screen. Feel free to e-mail me about a project though and we can see if I'd quote you higher or lower for your particular project.
