Chapter 11 Studios, an indie adventure game developer, is looking to fill the position of 2-D sprite artist / animator for the first episode of our upcoming episodic adventure game, Rise of the Hidden Sun: A 'Rattlensake' Jake Dawson Adventure. Sprites will have a cartoony feel to them.

We'll pay a flat fee of $1,000 for four game sprites, which will consist of eight walking directions (up, down, left, right, and all diagonals) as well as some simple animations such as hand gestures, etc. Familiarity with classic 2-D adventure games such as those from Sierra Online and LucasArts will be a huge advantage for applicants. If you are hired for this job, I will pay you $200 up front and the rest upon completion of the project.

Please go to our website (http://www.rattlesnakejake.com) and look at the sample art, screenshots, etc., from our game. We'll need to see a portfolio demonstrating your previous work.

If you have any questions or want to apply, contact me at chapter11studios@yahoo.com

It Lives! Sorry, this might not be the place to post, as I'm not a sprite artist, but I'm glad to see your project being worked on again. I remember reading about it a couple of years ago and thinking "I can't wait to play that game!" I love adventure games and yours has that old Lucasarts style to it that I love. Looking forward to playing it someday. ;)

I am great at this sort of thing but what's wrong with the man graphics you have?
Moreover the screenshots are incredibly small I am not sure is that man is pixel art or vector or what!
