Microsofts answer to google is now in beta. I thought I'd give it a spin!
I for one have to say that I hope this replaces google as the primary source of information on the web. (Assuming their algorithm doesnt change much.) To test it I used "game downloads" and my site, Twilight Games, popped up as the number one search result. works for me! :-)

The only problem - it's slow as hell for me for some reason.

Hmm, this beta is really different from what I was using and what supposed to be BETA... Just switched back from Firefox to Opera so I lost the link :(
Damn, this searching engine doesn't show the results I've expected. Very different. It's based on the newest scan of the internet and doesn't accumulate the information from the past, like Google does... Doesn't sound good to me :(
UPD
Hell, it has like all of DMOZ sites. Not in a row. Between hundreds of DMOZ sites there are some non-DMOZ entries which really refer to the proper info.

Yep it'd work for me if I ended up number one too. :D
But seriously, I hope this doesn't religate Google to second place (which I don't think it will). Microsoft already controls my desktop, I don't want them (in essence) controlling the web as well. Competition is always good, so we'll see how it shakes out.

I don't think it will take out google, nor do I particularly want it to. But if they do roll it out as their main search page and my site stays number one for a good term like that it can only help me.
