Hi,
After our blog www.casualgames.fr, we (me and my wife) are launching a new french portal : http://www.jouerenfamille.com
http://www.jouerenfamille.com/images//jef.jpg
This will be, I think, the first french portal dedicated for indies games. We are looking for games (especially in french), so you can help us.
Your game must be :
- available in french (if not, please contact us)
- available via an affiliate program (plimus, shareit) with "euro" device
- suitable for family fun
For exemple, in our catalog, there will be :
- Rainbow Web and Rainbow mystery
- Chocolate Castle
- Dylo's adventure
- Lux Delux
In discussion for localization :
- Pathstorm (our favorite!)
To boost our french catalog, we are proposing a localization service (for a low cost, about 50 % less than the commercial services), feel free to contact us.
And, because the website is not officialy launched, take a look and provide us some advices !
Indies, be ready for the french market: choose jouernefamille.com ! :-)

I forgot... we need Mac games too, for the "Mac corner" .
Hello
We have just released the Mac version of The Strategist (I'll announce it here more officially when the win32-version is released as well), but it's in English only. Do you offer translation services?
This is the game: http://www.oxeyegames.com/strategist/
Anyhow, your site looks really polished, good job!

The web site is nice, perfect use of a joomla theme (great for casual theme). Does joomla power your site ?
If so, do you have powerful hardware to power your site ? From personal experience, Joomla tends to slow down a lot for big sites, once you have quite a good audience... (but it's been quite a while, perhaps the new version is faster).
As a side note, you should check for grammatical mistakes, there are a few of them and that goes against the "pro" look of your website (or "strange" sentences : a web site "dévoué" to videos games ???)
Good luck with your project !

Thanks Brumaire,
I will look for mistakes... but, what is the problem with "dédié" (and not dévoué) ? The real english translation is "dedicated". Do you use an automatic translation tool ?
Yes, I use Joomla, it's my first project with this engine, it took me about 5 days to do the work. I will be aware of the harware (it's 1and1.com), and I will upgrade my host if the audience grow (hope it does !).

From your website :
"Vous êtes parmis les premiers à découvrir le premier portail français totalement dévoué aux jeux vidéos indépendants ! Nous sommes en contact direct avec les auteurs, au coeur du microcosme des "indies" comme on les appelle, pour vous proposer le meilleur du Casual Game ! "
And by the way, I do speak French, since I'm French :) I hate people having private talk in their own language on a forum, so I'm sticking to english, or I would use private messages...
Ok, maybee if one day I finish my own project, I will send it to you in hope you place it on your website :p
Another info : your link "http://www.jouernefamille.com" in your first post is false, and not all English speakers here will guess to swap "ne" to "en"...

Merci and I hope to help you when your project is finished (perharps before my own ;) ).

It's the video of Bricks Of egypt... do you think I need to switch off the autoplay parameter ? I was thinking that it's fun to see a game when the web page open... :(

Hmmm I don't see any video. I only hear the music and where the video should be, there is only a text link: Bricks Of Egypt (cliquez-ici pour y jouer)
Also your homepage seems to slide too much to the left in IE (see link) :)

Gulp ! I got the same video problem on IE (it's a youtube object, perhaps need a twist for IE, I will work on it) but on my IE, there is no slide problem
Edit : the video problem is fixed (on my IE test)

Strange... :D
I know IE is a bad browser but 95% of Europeans still use it so you better make it look good before you go live ;)
