Interesting listen.
I like Michael's attitude towards making games.
Is he full-time?

Yah he has been full time for about 5 years now....
Nobody deserves their success more than Mike....

Scorched Tanks is one of my favorite games. I used to load it up and just have the computer play itself. Loved those dirt bombs....

I normally enjoy these interviews, however this one was even better. Very well done, and quite informative.

Took the words right out of my mouth, very unique and interesting perspective on things.

Is he one of the strictly-no-portals guys?
I never saw his games there.

Yeah. This struck me as very interesting. I'd like to hear more about how this works for him.

I finally got caught up on all my podcasts and made it to this one. I really enjoyed it. Thanks to Mike and Curiosoft for taking the time to do this.
One suggestion: When you introduce yourself, say DX Ball or Pocket Tanks or Scorched Tanks somewhere in the first sentence or two. It was 5 or 10 minutes into the interview before you mentioned any of them. I love to hear about how you got your start in games, but it would have so much more meaning and context if I know I was listing to “how the guy who made DX Ball got his start in games.”
Sorry, this is just a little pet peeve of mine with nearly all the indiegamepod podcasts. Maybe it is just because of the way I listen to the podcasts in my car’s CD player and I don’t see the notes or posting about them. I just hear them cold and the “why don’t you introduce yourself” thing rarely satisfies me. Tell me what game they are best known for before anything else.
That nitpick aside, it was a really fun and informative podcast. Thanks again. I have been listed to every episode for several months now.
