Description

Hello everyone,
The above screenshot are from the game which we are currently developing. The working title is "Dimensity". It is true hybrid game, which combines elemets from RPG, RTS and other genres. The major inhabitants in the game world are four completely different races - Humans, Triends, Ghosts and Elementals. Each of them is represented in the gameplay in form of number of units (characters and buildings). The main character of each race is its leader who can be either warrior or mage class.

There are three different playing modes - Campaigns, Challenge mode and Multiplayer. In campaign mode the player will follow a storyline for Humans and Triend races separated in two campaigns.

The Challenge mode allows the player to take control over one of the race leaders and therefore enjoy the slaughter of thousands aggressive creatures and solve minor quests.

Multiplayer mode is for the players who like to cross blades with other players. The interesting thing in Dimensity is that the experience and build of the leader of the winner are saved at the end of each multiplayer session and thus there is a real character development in multiple multiplayer sessions.
More detailed information for the game can be found at:

*picks his jaw up from the floor*

Sexy. I imagine a few publishers are already salivating over this.

Looks great, but the huge images make it really hard to read the post. Maybe use thumbnails or just links.

VERY nice looking. What engine are you using?

That looks a lot like NeverWinterNights. Is there a connection or is it just me?

I was thinking Sacred/Dungeon Siege/Diablo.

I was refering to the graphical engine, not the gameplay.

Thank you for the nice words and comments! The engine is designed by ourselves! There is no connection with any other game! The story takes place in the world of Dimensity which is unique! This is our first game project and everything engine, art, soundtrack, storyline is created by our team! It is great to have your feedback:)! Feel yourself free to give advises, suggestions, criticism! We do believe that they will make our game better!

I gave this a plug elsewhere iirc. Nice work, guys.

I can't 'get' the gameplay at all though. I understand you are indies and are therefore free to do anything you want and slough off the shackles of the corporate oppresion world, yet I still can't find any coloured blocks on the screen to shuffle about...

ROFL!

Seriously. This is amazing stuff. Make sure to announce the demo!

At first I liked them, but after looking at them a bit I'm going to have to go against the crowd and say that I don't really like those graphics; they're better than, say, Warcraft 3's or World of Warcraft's, and if people like that kind of style fine, but to me this is muddy and not very stylistic.

I prefer when the color selection all works together, creating a nice effect overall; the individual models you use are good, but the overall screen displays aren't well-composed in terms of color. Ico, Shadow of the Collosus, Final Fantasy 7, and even The Endless Forest (also an independent game) do 3D much better than this I think.

But again, some people don't mind this style, I don't like it because it feels like just a bunch of things put together rather than a whole. Also problematic is that the movable objects are not any more saturated in color than their background (that I can see, anyway), which makes them sort of blend in, and it's hard to distinguish characters and monsters from the background.

Here (http://www.gametrailers.com/umwatcher.php?id=57717) we Uploaded another movie that shows the Dimensity Interface and some features.

It looks much nicer in motion. The movement of the people is great, the little gestures and so on.

However, one thing, the English in that video isn't too great. English might not be your native language, but it'd be a good idea to get an editor to check over things like that, because if that type of English is in the game it would probably damage the game experience.

Thank you very much, RinkuHero! We will take that into consideration!

I'm definitely digging the hybrid soundtrack you got going on there. Can't wait to hear the world come alive with SFX and Music! (Lemme know if you need help with dialog "even just for trailers!" or ambiences, these aren't to be overlooked!)
