First round of SpaceCute prototype contest available

Last week I posted a game design challenge to the readers of my blog, lostgarden.com. I had been hearing unpleasant rumors that some very capable programmers lacked quality graphics. It seemed like a bit of a Jack Sprat situation consider my own lack of programming skills. The rules were simple:

I provide some nice free graphics
I provide a stub of a design doc (which people are free to change as desired)
Anyone with the proper elite skills whips up a prototype.
We all discuss and chat about other improvements.

Critiques and ideas are welcome. There is still plenty of time to join in the fun as well. I'd suspect there exist one or two folks on this forum who also have the urge to get their wild prototyping freak on.
