I'm not sure if a post like this has ever been posted, but I would love to hear the story of any full-time indie that sucessfully made the transition from a "regular" (non indie) job to being a full-time indie whose business supports them and their family.
How did you spouse, family feel? Did they support you? Did you transition slowly or jump right in? Were you nervous or confident? Did you do little or much research before you made the transition? Did you have a concrete plan? Did you save up money? Did you have to quit your job? Did you go indie because you were fired? Anything you would change if you could do it over again?
