It is surprising how few link trade requests we see here, well:

I can link from battlesofnorghan.com or mitorahgames.com to you and you link to mitorahgames.com.

The sites' current Google page ranks are 4. battlesofnorghan.com next PR is estimately 5 according to this tool (http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_prediction?domain=www.mitorahgames.com%0D %0Awww.battlesofnorghan.com).

Your site needs to be games or game development related and have a PR of 4 or higher. I'm hoping for this to be a permanent or at least long term trade.

E-mail info -a.t- mitorahgames.com if interested.

Done, thanks Tero. I just wanted to know, how much can we trust those page rank prediction tools? From their own website:The results will provide a prediction of the future PageRank however this should not be considered true.
Anyway,
- if you run a nice game related website or if you develop great indie games
- if your website has PR4+
- if you wish to trade links with another great PR4 website

Just drop us a line (http://oliverpearl.com/en/contactus.php) to be featured at our wonderful partners page (http://oliverpearl.com/en/partners.php)! :p

Also happy to exchange sitewide buttons or text links to anyone with PR 5+ or decent traffic (over 1000 uniques per day).

Many of you guys don't realize that having a crap load of links on your linking page pretty much makes your From links useless. (The above two who replied don't have too many links though.)

I'd trust the future PR the Accuracy% amount IF Google updated the rank the very next minute (because who knows how many will add/drop links to you before it). But that's just me.

Page Rank won't help with traffic though. I have 3 sites rated PR5 and yet one of them gets a tiny fraction of the traffic that my popular site does.

Good PageRank + SEO does create traffic. Good PageRank + bad page for search engines will get you nowhere. A big percentage of mitorahgames.com traffic is from search engines.

In general: PR is an emanation of site popularity (comes after that and just reflects it back). It generates nothing itself.

Page Rank is a measure of quality backlinks to your site. More backlinks means higher link popularity. Higher link popularity means easier time getting search engine rankings. Better search engine rankings means more traffic.

Anyone else get those spam-like emails where they've link to your site on some irrelevant site and want you to link to a different site?

Nexic

Yep all the time, just get deleted unless they are relevant (other game developers). As soon as you start linking in everyone search engines are going to realize you're just playing them. Everyone is, but don't make it obvious!

I still wouldn't put too much weight on PR4 sites.
We have a site that is brand new, has NOT been promoted at all, has not been SEO optimized, etc... It has maybe 4 external sites linking to it, if that, and yet we are PR4??? Makes no sense. We're lucky if we get 50 visits a day:

It is easy to get your other sites to make your new site about the same PR even without other than your own sites linking to it. That is with PR 1 - 5 at least.
