Hi.
Currently we’re trying to publish our first casual game. We’re in touch with two major publishers that stated they are interested in the game. Thou there is one problem, it takes them enormous amount of time to reply to our emails, like 1-2 weeks (per each mail). Is it a common behavior in this business?

For some publishers/portals yes, for some not. Some want to call you next day and sign the contract right a way :D

even if he did that wouldn't guarantee you they'd write YOU back the next day, it will doubtless depend somewhat on your reputation and how exciting-looking your game is :)
